Snacks For The Weekend

Due to the current inclement weather and the Navajo Nation’s declaration of Emergency the Pine Hill School is assisting its student with snacks for the weekend. We realize some children may not have enough food at home. We realize the weather is cold and unforgiving. We realize the road conditions are often treacherous and impassable which cause the means to get food nearly impossible. We value the health of our students. We will continue to provide snacks for the weekend as long as funds are available and as long as there is a need. Thank you, parents, for your continued support and please take care of yourselves!

Parents are encouraged and advised to consider seeking residential services for their children who may be experiencing absenteeism due to the inclement weather. The dorm personnel will waive enrollment requirements for temporary stays of 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc. This service is immediately available. For those families wishing to utilize the services please bring children to the Ramah Navajo Dormitory at Pine Hill, NM. The services provide for three meals a day, overnight lodging, friendly staff, and other educational activities.
